Hi, I'm Steven,

but you can call me Mr. Internet Steven. I'm a front-end web developer with a passion for building responsive, accessible and interactive sites. Welcome to my own little corner of the web which I designed and built myself - this is where I'll be showcasing my coding skills and reporting on projects past and present. Check out some of the projects I've worked on below.

Most of my work has involved building website for major nationwide commercial property developers. The brief was usually the same: we need a stylish but unfussy website that promotes our new construction project attractively and clearly.

More often than not, construction would not yet have started, and my websites helped potential buyers visualise buildings that only existed in concept. Through bright, clear and interactive design I instilled confidence in the client's own clients when considering purchasing the buildings.

In every case, the clients expected a rapid turnaround time and a swift response to any updates requested, based on the properties reaching completion or changing ownership.

In addition to my work in web development, I'm also a fluent bilingual Italian translator, translating news articles, instruction manuals, corporate reports, scifi novels and much more besides. I've been learning Spanish for over a year and can now confidently navigate a tapas menu.

In my spare time I can often be found furiously transcribing my thoughts to any of my blogs.
